Slecoma and Campo Machinery Join Forces

Boekel—a breath of fresh air is sweeping through the De Vlonder industrial park.

With a clear repositioning of their business activities, Slecoma Boekel and its sister company Campo Machinery are taking a major step toward the future. While Slecoma will now focus entirely on new machinery and high-quality service, Campo Machinery, under the leadership of Thijs van Sleeuwen, will concentrate on the global trade in gently used agricultural machinery.

The agricultural sector is constantly evolving and requires specialization. To meet the diverse needs of modern farmers and contract operators, owner Thijs van Sleeuwen has decided to focus the resources of both companies even more effectively.

Focus on Innovation and Service

Slecoma remains the go-to source for the latest technological developments in the industry. As a proud New Holland dealer, the focus here is on supplying brand-new tractors and implements. In addition, the workshop remains the beating heart of the company. Here, a team of specialists stands ready to ensure business continuity for customers through maintenance and prompt service.

Ruud van den Berk | Slecoma

A significant change within the executive team supports this new direction. Ruud van den Berk, who has been with the organization for over fifteen years, recently joined the executive team. As the new face of Slecoma, he will focus entirely on the sale of machines and parts and on optimizing service.

Ruud started out as a mechanic at the company and eventually moved up to the sales team. He now brings that in-depth technical knowledge to his role as director. Under his leadership, Slecoma remains the proud full-line volume dealer for New Holland and carries strong brands such as Avant, Strautmann, Kuhn, and VGM.

Global Purchasing and Sales

At the same time, sister company Campo Machinery is taking on a renewed, prominent role. Thijs van Sleeuwen is breathing new life into this company to serve the international market for gently used machinery. Whether it’s a tractor getting a second life on the other side of the ocean or the procurement of high-quality used machinery for the European market, Campo Machinery serves as the global link.

The entire supply chain under our own management

According to Thijs van Sleeuwen, this split is a logical step toward offering a comprehensive package. “We want to control the entire supply chain so we can offer our customers a comprehensive range of products,” he explains. “From a brand-new machine straight from the factory to a gently used tractor that travels all over the world through our export channels. This specialization allows us to offer a higher level of quality in both areas.”

Ready for the Future

Thanks to the operational separation between new and used equipment, both companies can respond more quickly and provide more targeted advice. Together, they form a strong foundation for the future of agricultural mechanization in the region and far beyond. With this milestone, the organization underscores its ambition to remain a leading partner in a sector that never stands still.
